Actually there are 7 sharpshooters in top 100 right now in KR. Seems to me like Paladin is the worst as there is only 1 paladin in the top 100. They are the most annoying class to deal with. "You don't play games to win, you play games so you can make you're opponents rage quit". Good classes and moderately preferred : Berserker, Dead Eye, Sharpshooter. Too Popular for parties : Lancer, Gun Lancer, Gunslinger, Scouter. Not hugely popular for parties but popular among players : Arcana, Soul Fist, Striker. REMEMBER : The best class for you is the one you enjoy. Compare it to to other games, Lost Ark's character balance is ... Zerker. I'm main Gunslinger and have as alts a DB, Zerk, Shadowhunter, Sorc and waiting for the Lancemaster. And by far for me the most fun to play is the GS, i just love her mobility and stylish skills, just waiting for the Reaper that is my favorite class of all of them. Byebyeitsanamg. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc.Probably gunslinger. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. As far as I can tell, that’s less of an issue here since there is no real holy trinity. The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities. Just over all a really fun class, it’s like a male sorceress but doesn’t hit as hard and can actually take a few hits.Each class in lost ark has two class engravings, or two different play styles/builds to chose from. Picking an assassin to play is essentially picking 1/6 not 1/3. I would recommend playing what you enjoy over what sounds like the most DPS since at the end of the day, whoever has the best gear will do the most damage.fact is lost ark has the best combat system of all MMOs. end of story. playing WoW or FF14 after playing lost ark for a while is basically impossible cos you die of boredom. but to each their own. seems like you are having some mental issues tho if you stick around a sub for something you hate just to try and make others miserable.An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest..
